AirOps review: pricing, user ratings & alternatives
The short answer: AirOps tracks whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and other AI search engines mention your brand, and writes, refreshes and publishes content to your CMS through workflows and agents, with an approval step if you want one. That makes it the tool in this comparison closest to Claire, but built for enterprise teams: AirOps shows no prices on its pricing page, and users report a steep learning curve. On G2 it’s rated 4.7 out of 5 from 134 reviews.

Features
What AirOps does.
AirOps connects tracking and execution. “Insights” queries AI search engines daily and shows citations, share of voice and competitors, plus data from Google Search Console and GA4. From that, AirOps suggests “Opportunities”: topics where competitors appear in AI answers and you have no content, pages to refresh, and ideas for other websites and communities. Playbooks, workflows and the “Quill” agent turn these into full articles or rewrites of existing pages and push them to your CMS.
AirOps is run by Rivington Labs, Inc. in the US, headquartered in New York and San Francisco by its own account and founded in 2022. Today it positions itself as platform plus service: “AirOps combines data, platform, and expertise in one offering.” By its own account, teams at Webflow, Ramp, Chime and HubSpot use it.

Features according to the vendor
- Insights: citations, share of voice, competitors and sentiment per AI engine, plus Search Console and GA4
- Opportunities: new topics, pages to refresh, ideas for other sites and communities; recommended prompts every week
- Playbooks, workflows and grids: full articles, rewrites and content at scale, with checks for readability, claim support, SEO and AEO
- Brand Kit and knowledge bases for brand voice and facts
- Keyword data via DataForSEO and Moz, plus Semrush and Ahrefs from Pro
- Human review steps before publishing, on every plan
- MCP and API; Enterprise with single sign-on and SOC 2 Type II
AirOps publishes straight to your CMS: only Webflow on Solo, from Pro also WordPress, Contentful, Sanity, Strapi, Framer, HubSpot, Contentstack, Storyblok and Builder.io; the docs also list Shopify and Ghost. AirOps promotes an approval step before anything goes live; technically a workflow can also publish directly and run on a schedule. Writing, workflows and daily tracking all draw on the same balance of “tasks”.

- AirOps shows no amounts on its pricing page, not even a currency. According to the FAQ, pricing depends on task volume and needs.
- Whether Solo is free for good is unclear: the page for AI assistants says “Solo is free with 35,000 tasks”, the docs give new free workspaces “1 included task”. Extra tasks on Solo cost $0.025 each.
- Tasks are the shared currency: writing, workflows and daily tracking all count against the same balance. The pricing page doesn’t state a number of prompts per plan.
- 14-day free trial, according to the FAQ without payment details until the trial ends; the terms allow AirOps to ask for a payment method.
- Per the terms, subscriptions renew automatically, you must cancel at least 30 days before the end of the term, and fees paid are non-refundable.

Reviews
What users say. Ratings from four platforms.
AirOps has a solid base on G2 with 134 reviews. We couldn’t read them individually because G2 blocks automated retrieval, but G2 publishes an AI summary, which we quote word for word. OMR Reviews, a German software review platform, has two reviews, both from the same German agency. We found no Capterra profile and no Trustpilot reviews.

Who it’s for
Who AirOps is a good fit for. And who it isn’t.
A good fit for
- Marketing and content teams at larger companies that want to track AI visibility and create and refresh content at scale.
- Agencies building their own content workflows for many clients.
- Teams that like to assemble and adjust workflows themselves.
Less of a fit for
- Small businesses on a fixed budget: AirOps publishes no prices, and tracking and writing draw on the same task balance.
- Anyone who wants to start fast without building workflows: the learning curve is the most frequently named downside.
- Teams that need an interface in another language: the website and sign-up are English only.
Claire is your AI colleague for visibility in ChatGPT and Google: she finds where you’re missing, closes the gaps and shows you the results. Unlike AirOps, you don’t build workflows for that; Claire does the work herself, with a fixed price from €199 a month and approval per post. AirOps tracks more AI engines from Pro and can be customized much more freely.

Questions
Good to know.
What is AirOps?
A US platform that tracks whether AI search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity mention a brand, and turns that into content: full articles, rewrites of existing pages and content at scale through workflows and agents that publish straight to CMSs like Webflow or WordPress. AirOps also offers strategy services from its own experts.
How much does AirOps cost?
AirOps shows no amounts on its pricing page (as of October 8, 2026). There are the Solo plan (1 user, 35,000 tasks, ChatGPT tracking only), Pro (unlimited seats, 100,000 tasks, 7+ AI engines) and Enterprise on request. According to the FAQ, pricing depends on task volume and needs.
Is AirOps free?
There’s a 14-day free trial, according to the FAQ without payment details until the trial ends. Whether the Solo plan is free for good, AirOps says inconsistently: its page for AI assistants calls Solo “free with 35,000 tasks”, its docs give free workspaces a single task.
AirOps or Profound?
Both track AI visibility and write content that lands in your CMS after approval, and neither publishes prices for companies. Profound tracks up to nine AI engines and has far more G2 reviews (4.5 from 1,130); AirOps leans more on freely built workflows and content at scale (4.7 from 134 G2 reviews, as of October 8, 2026).
What are the best AirOps alternatives?
Profound as an enterprise platform with agents, Writesonic for tracking plus articles with public prices from $99 a month, and pure tracking tools like Peec AI or Otterly.AI if you only want to measure. Claire, our own product, is an AI colleague for visibility in ChatGPT and Google who does the work herself instead of you building workflows.
How we compared
Method and sources, as of Oct 8, 2026
- Researched on October 8, 2026 by Claire (wordsmattr GmbH, Vienna); the values for Peec AI, Otterly.AI and Profound in the tables are from October 5, 2026. We offer an AI visibility tool ourselves, so we’re not neutral. That’s why every number comes with a source and date, and we also say where other tools fit better.
- Ratings: G2, OMR Reviews (a German software review platform), Capterra and Trustpilot. G2 doesn’t allow automated retrieval. Averages and counts there come from the Google search result for the G2 page, for Profound from G2’s own partner page. We haven’t read individual G2 reviews; strengths and weaknesses rely mainly on the texts on OMR Reviews.
- Reviews that clearly describe a different product weren’t counted for strengths and weaknesses. OMR Reviews labels reviews written after an invitation with a voucher or donation. That says nothing about individual texts, but it can raise the average.
- Reddit: direct retrieval is blocked. We only show the snippets Google Search displays and label them as snippets.
- Prices and features: the vendors’ pricing and product pages, retrieved from Europe on the same day. Whether a tool writes content and publishes it to a CMS, we also checked on product, integration and help pages. Some vendors show euros or dollars depending on your location. Prices change; the vendor’s own page is binding.
- Quotes: verbatim and shortened, with role, rating and date, without names. Quotes from German-language reviews are our translation and marked as such.
- Not done: our own hands-on test with a trial account. Claire itself doesn’t have a profile with reviews on these four platforms yet. We update this comparison quarterly.
