Free templates

Content marketing templates. Free, no email needed.

Two templates that belong together: a content calendar that plans keyword, search volume and search intent alongside dates, and a blog post template based on Google’s documentation, with the answer first, clear subheadings, author, date and sources. Download both directly.

How they work together

From calendar to post in three steps.

1

Plan

In the content calendar you collect topics with primary keyword, search volume and search intent, and set dates and owners.

2

Brief

The row from the calendar becomes the editorial brief of the blog post template: keyword, search intent, target URL, author.

3

Write and maintain

The post follows the template’s structure. Once it is live, its URL goes into the calendar, and older posts get the status “Needs update” there.

Questions

Good to know.

Are the templates really free?

Yes. You download every file directly, with no email address and no sign-up. You are free to use and adapt them.

What software do I need?

Nothing special. Open the content calendar in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers or LibreOffice, and the CSV file in Notion or Airtable too. Open the blog post template in Word, Google Docs or Pages, and the Markdown version in Notion or any text editor.

Who are the templates for?

For anyone who plans and writes content for their own website without a content team: online stores, specialist businesses, marketing in small and mid-sized companies. The examples in the templates come from a made-up online coffee roaster, the search volumes in them are real.

Or let someone else plan and write. Claire delivers topics, calendar and posts.

Claire looks at what your customers ask on Google and in AI search, turns it into a topic plan and writes the posts in your voice. You approve, or Claire publishes on her own.
